This web page contains small snippets of anatomical facts and items of interest. I have divided them under two headings. One is about eminent scientists who have made significant contributions to medical science or whose names are permanently associated with specific structures. The second includes topics that are of clinical or practical importance but which, in my opinion, students often find difficult or confusing. However, I am also prepared to include other topics that you suggest. So please feel free to make your suggestions by sending me an e-mail to alfred.cuschieri@um.edu.mt. You may also ask questions or simply ask for clarifications about any aspect of anatomy that they find difficult. My answers will be placed on this site so that all can benefit.
