  About Our Department The Department of Chemistry offers coursework leading to the degrees of  B.Sc. (Hons), PG.Dip. in Applied Chemistry and M.Sc.. The department also offers course units, which are taken by students of other disciplines, notably education and pharmacy.

Besides teaching activities academic members of the department carry out research in diverse areas of chemistry.

Academic members of the department also offer a consultancy service to industry and state institutions.
