Rod Falvey is Professor of International Economics. He has held academic positions at the Virginia Polytechnic Institute, Tulane University and the Australian National University and has been at Nottingham since 1996. The focus of his research interest is International Trade Theory and the impact of distortions. He has published extensively in refereed journals including the American Economic Review, Quarterly Journal of Economics, International Economic Review, Journal of International Economics and the Economic Journal. At various times he has had visiting positions at the University of Auckland, Institute of International Economic Studies at Stockholm and the Economic Policy Research Unit in Copenhagen. He is an Associate Editor of the Review of International Economics and a member of the Editorial Advisory Board of the World Economy.
