- Postgraduate Diploma in Gerontology and
Geriatrics (Dip.Ger.)
This one year postgraduate course was designed by an international
group of experts during a meeting convened in 1989 by the International
Institute on Ageing, United Nations - Malta, and with the participation
of representatives from ILO, WHO,
and UNESCO. The course consists of study-units, practice placements, and a dissertation
on an approved area of study chosen in consultation with a supervisor.
- Masters in Gerontology and Geriatrics (M.Ger.)
The Masters degree (18 months full time or 36 months part time) is
based on research work carried out in the candidate's own country under
the supervision of a member of staff of the Centre.
- European Masters in Gerontology (EuMaG)
This is one of eight initiatives within the European continent linking
postgraduate candidates and universities. It enables students to take different
parts of the study in different European countries and thus attain a first-hand
experience of
different setting in the field of Ageing.
- Master of Philosophy (M. Phil.) and Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.)
