National Euro Changeover Committee
This website provides information about the Maltese programme for the euro changeover process, which is planned for 1 January 2008.


European Central Bank
The European Central Bank website offers a mine of information about the Eurosystem and the euro area of EU13. The Bank also engages in studies and research, which are available on the website, under press releases, publications and statistics.


World Trade Organization 
This is the official website of the WTO, which is rich in trade-related material.  It provides up-to-date information about ongoing discussions, trade negotiations, trade disputes, ministerial conferences, international trade statistics, working papers.


United Nations Development Programme
The UNDP raises awareness about issues such as poverty, disease, environmental degradation, hunger, discrimination and helps countries to deal with  the challenges of democratic governance, aids and HIV, poverty reduction, energy and the environment.  It takes a socio-economic perspective of development and issues reports on Human Development.


European Union
This is the main site for the European Union.   It is useful as it gives information on a wide range of topics, from those based on EU activity, to  EU policy, to information on living in the EU, to EU institutions, documents, services.


National Statistics Office
This website offers up-to-date information related to statistical and analytical information about the Maltese islands.  It also offers links to local organizations, international institutions and other websites that are of general interest.  


Economics Web Institute
The Economics Web Institute is devoted to offer theoretical debate, 

interactive software models, free economic datasets, and a rich glossary to understand contemporary economics.


The Economics of Networks - by Prof. Nicholas Economides, Stern School of Business, New York University
This site provides a collection of information on economic issues of networks, such as the telephone and fax communications networks, the internet, financial exchange and credit card networks, as well as on "virtual networks". 


The Euro Homepage
The website provides links to news, editorials, analysis and opinions regarding the European Monetary Union from many available sources on the Internet. Other sections are related the Euro economic policy and the Euro economic research
