  Nadia Farrugia

Ms Nadia Farrugia is an Assistant Lecturer in Microeconomics and the co-ordinator of the MA Economics course.  Her main teaching areas are Microeconomics, Macroeconomics, Monetary Economics, Introduction to International Trade and Mathematics for Economists.  Her main research areas are small states studies, in particular economic vulnerability and resilience, economic growth and competitiveness.  She was previously employed as an Economics Officer at the Central Bank of Malta, within the Economic Analysis Office.  She graduated Bachelor of Commerce (Honours) in Economics (First Class) from the University of Malta in 2002 and obtained a Master of Arts in Economics (with Distinction) from the same university in 2004.
