Dr P. Von Brockdorff graduated BA (Hons) Public Administration, M.Sc. Econ (Wales) and D.Phil (York).  His teaching areas are Competitiveness Strategy and Economic Vulnerability and Resilience of Small States, while his research areas include Economics of Ageing Populations and Public Sector Economics. He is the Permanent Secretary for the Ministry of Rural Affairs and the Environment.
