Ing Philip Schembri
Philip Schembri
has been lecturing part-time at the University of Malta since 1994. His main
areas of expertise are project management and industrial operations
management. He graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering
with Honours from the University of Malta in 1990, and with a Master's degree in Business
Administration with Distinction from the University of Nottingham in 1992.
His primary job is that of
Assistant Director within the government public Works Division under the
Ministry for Resources and Infrastructure. In the past he has also been a
local councillor, a Director on the Board of the Planning Authority, a
Director of the national Engineering Board, a Director of the Institute of Water Technology, as well as chairman
or member of various other public committees. He also led or been member of
various government delegations abroad, such as to the German Water
Authorities in Berlin, and to the European
Investment Bank in Luxembourg.
