As from October, 2002 students registered for this degree programme are benefiting from the Erasmus Exchange agreements that have been signed with Canterbury Christ Church College in the UK and Pohjois-Savo Institute in Kuopio Finland.  Up to six students and four members of staff are benefiting from this exchange.  Students and lecturers from these two institutes will be coming to Malta during the first term of academic year 2002 – 2003.

In addition, there are arrangements for foreign visiting lecturers to teach in certain parts of the course.  During May 2002, Prof Carlson L Jenkins from the University of Strathclyde has conducted a seminar to the first year students as a visiting Professor on Introduction to Hospitality.

During 2002-3, the visiting staff include: Prof Roberto Pranding on Artistic Management from the University of Perugia (Italy), Mr Rainer Mellander on Tourism: Principles and Practices from Pohjois-Savo Polytechnic, (Finland), and Mr Lachlan Roderick MacLellan on Hospitality Management from University of Strathclyde (Scotland).
