RENEWABLE ENERGIES IN MALTA AND BEYOND

A one-day seminar on renewable energy research and applications, organised by the Institute for Energy Technology, University of Malta.
Research and applications on renewable energies (RE) in Malta have been active for many years. During the past decade, a more organised and forceful effort has been put into these areas. This seminar aims at enhancing awareness on ongoing research and at stimulating further cooperation between interested parties. The seminar covers a number of topics that include energy efficiency, buildings, solar heating, solar photovoltaics, wind energy, hydrogen production, waste to energy, education and other innovative research areas. Keynote speakers from Spain, UK and USA will further enhance the programme. An exhibition by some companies active in the field of RE will also be displayed.
Proceedings of this seminar are now available on a CD in pdf format for the price of Lm 5 (Euros 12).
