General Information about the International
Relations Course
The B.A. International Relations
course is multidisciplinary. Its main components are Theory of International
Relations, International History, International Politics, Inter-national
Economics and International Law. The Department of International Relations
offers a total of seventy-five taught credits and seven research credits
with the majority of the taught credits on offer on alternate years.
In Part One of the course,
students are required to follow a minimum of ten credits, all of which
are all compulsory.
In Part Two of the course,
students who opt for a B.A. General degree must obtain a minimum of twenty
credits, while students who opt for the B.A. (Hons.) degree must obtain
a minimum of forty credits. B.A. General students have to take seventeen
compulsory credits while Honours students have to take thirty-five compulsory
credits that include the seven research credits.
