  • Entry Qualifications: -
  • Course Description: 15-credit course, provided  as an evening course in Malta and as a weekend course in Gozo

Diploma in Agriculture

  • Duration:1 yr. F.T.
  • Entry Qualifications: Advanced levels in Chemistry and Biology
  • Course Description: Course work  for 3 days in Crop Husbandry, Soil Science, Animal Husbandry, Agricultural Engineering and Agricultural Economics and Business

Diploma in Water Operations Management

  • Duration: 1 yr. F.T./2 yr. P.T.
  • Entry Qualifications:
  • Course Description: Course work in Water management and treatment, conservation, and use; Sewage systems; Industrial placement and a long essay on an approved topic

B.Sc. in Mediterranean Agro-ecosystems Management

  • Duration: 3 yr. F.T.
  • Entry Qualifications: Advanced Level at grade D or better in Biology and Chemistry, or the Diploma in Agriculture of the University
  • Course Description: Course work related to issues concerning the Mediterranean region; especially Management of Soil, Water resources, Plant and animal genetic resources, Policies and Legislation; and research work for a dissertation on an approved topic

M.Sc. in Agricultural Sciences

  • Duration: 2 yr. F.T./3 yr. P.T.
  • Entry Qualifications: B.Sc. in Chemistry and Biology (1, 2A or 2B)
  • Course Description: Course work in Crop Protection Science, Animal Production Science and in Soil Science; and research work for a dissertation on an approved topic

M.Sc. in Agricultural and Veterinary Sciences

  • Duration: 1 yr. F.T./2 yr. P.T.
  • Entry Qualifications: B.Pharm.(Hons.)
  • Course Description: Course work in Crop Protection Science, Animal Health Science, Aromatic and Medicinal Plants and in Plant or Animal Nutrition; and research work for a dissertation on an approved topic

M.Phil. in Agriculture

  • Duration: 2 yr. F.T./3 yr. P.T
  • Entry Qualifications: A good first degree in Agriculture or Biology
  • Course Description: Research work on an approved topic. Graduates may be requested to undertake certain course work

Ph.D. in Agriculture

  • Duration: 3 yr. F.T./4 yr. P.T.
  • Entry Qualifications: An M.Sc. in Agriculture or related subjects
  • Course Description: Research work including original contribution to agricultural knowledge on an approved topic
