Thanks to the generous sponsorship of the European Commission, a number of scholarships are awarded each year for the course leading to the MA in Human Rights and Democratisation. These scholarships are available to students from Morocco, Algeria, Tunisia, Jordan, Syria, Israel, Lebanon, Turkey, Egypt, Libya and Palestine. Students from other countries may register for the course on payment of the appropriate tuition fee (see http://www.um.edu.mt/intoff/tuitionfee.pdf).

The scholarship covers University of Malta course tuition fee, air-fare from home country to Malta and back, air-fare to country for second semester research, and payment of a subsistence allowance throughout the whole period of the course.
