Academic Advisors
According
to the “Guidelines for the adoption of unit/credit system and assessment
procedures for undergraduate courses”, issued by the University of Malta
in 1997, first-year students are assigned academic advisors. The
function of the academic advisor is to act as a point of reference to a
maximum of twelve students, to provide general advice on all matters relevant
to their academic progress and assist where necessary.
