Conference Setting

Malta is an island in the Mediterranean with a population of circa 360,000 inhabitants. Two main languages are spoken in Malta - Maltese (which is of semitic origin with a number of romance influences) and English. .

There is one university, The University of Malta, which, tracing back its origins to 1592, is one of the oldest in the Mediterranean basin.

Malta is well connected with daily and regular flights to all major European cities and a number of international destinations.

The climate in Malta in June-July is fairly warm with temperatures around +25 to +32 degrees Celsius.

The Conference will be organised in the Corinthia San Gorg 5 star hotel at the water's edge in St. George's Bay where the organisers have negotiated special rates for conference participants.

The Corinthia Marina Hotel, a four-star hotel within the same group and a two-minute walk across the garden, is also offering special rates for conference participants
