The Journal is a refereed journal issued on a biannual basis. Articles are published in English and French, with abstracts in Arabic. The Mediterranean Journal of Human Rights is published by the Faculty of Laws and the Foundation for International Studies of the University of Malta, with the support of the European Commission, the Editorial Board of the University of Malta and the Strickland Foundation. Its ISSN  is 1027-4375.
